A Pot Of Twenty Million Pounds has been organized to improve cultural schemes and make the UK’s towns better places to live.
Well known places like the Fishing town of Grimsby, Coastal towns like Plymouth and places like Worcester and Wakefield will receive this money which is hoped to boost jobs in cultural industries.
The City of Coventry which will be the City of Culture in 2021, will also get a cash boost and it will also be the host of a conference where Jeremy Wright, the Culture secretary will speak more about this cash boost.
An extra seventeen and a half million pounds will also be added at a later date which will boost creative research and development, aid festivals and help historic engineering and sculpture.
